Riverside school campus

The Riverside School Campus was developed by Materia to showcase the potential for earth architecture to develop asset fast and economically. The whole campus was developed in a 10 months perod, with design and construction being handled by Materia simulatneously.

Designed by Francis Kéré, the campus addresses the critical lack of quality schools in the region, and to allow local and international children to attend the same school. With over 3,000 sqm of built-up area and a further 2,200 sqm of sports and recreation facilities it further increase the cohesion of the community which is envisaged as a model impact investment in the Sub-Saharan African region.
