Riverside School Campus

The Riverside School Campus was developed by Materia to create a social infrastructure core within a growing residential community. The project served as a blueprint to demonstrate the potential to deliver beautiful assets in an economical and efficient way. In order to be able to meet the beginning of the upcoming school year, the whole campus was designed and developed in a 10 months period, where Materia was able to pursue a design & build approach without compromise of quality.

Designed by Francis Kéré, the campus addresses the critical lack of quality schools in the region, and allow local and international children to attend the same school on an affordable basis. With over 3,000 sqm of built-up area and a further 2,200 sqm of sports and recreation facilities it further increase the cohesion of the local community showcasing the potential for impact investment in the Sub-Saharan African region.
